A fast-paced 3-hour sprint where students, educators, entrepreneurs, and public professionals team up to solve real-world challenges through multimedia.
A Creathon took place in The Hague with one clear goal: hands-on collaboration for real impact — and that’s precisely what happened.
Multimedia students from vocational (MBO) and higher education (HBO) programs collaborated with a diverse group of stakeholders, including educators, entrepreneurs, government professionals, and creative thinkers. In just 3 hours, they developed creative, multimedia-driven solutions to address a timely social issue.
The Creathon delivered three key outcomes — all within 3 hours:
-
A hands-on co-creation format, where different perspectives came together to tackle meaningful challenges
-
New insights and depth, introduced by an expert speaker to spark thinking and dialogue
-
The rapid development of multimedia solutions, including videos, podcasts, and app concepts, all created under the guidance and leadership of student teams
Participants were enthusiastic about the experience and impressed by the quality, creativity, and speed with which they accomplished so much in just 3 hours.
